<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the occurrence of initial explosion during the occurrence of a resonance phenomenon to a drive system by stopping the cranking of an internal combustion engine at more appropriate timing. <P>SOLUTION: When a rotation variation Y of the engine is larger than a threshold Yref for determining a resonance (S130), as an engine speed Ne is nearer to a resonance frequency of the drive system and the rotation variation becomes larger, a count value S corresponding to an inverse number of an extension time till the cranking of the engine is stopped is set as a larger number (S160), and in addition, a new count integrated value C is calculated (S170). When the calculated integrated value C is larger than a threshold Cref, staring of the engine is stopped (S190). As a result, the cranking of the internal combustion engine is stopped at more appropriate timing, whereby the occurrence of the initial explosion of the internal combustion engine during the occurrence of the resonance phenomenon in the drive system is restrained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
