发明名称 METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF KELOID
摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for easily and accurately discriminating keloid from hypertrophic scar. <P>SOLUTION: The method to determine a scar as keloid or not contains (1) a step of preparing a determination specimen, (2) a step of determining the expression quantity of at least one gene product among gene products selected from periostin, fibronectin 1, O-bonded mannose-&beta;-1,2 N-acetylglycosaminyl transferase, minecan, lumicane, serine protease 11, a gene product identified by the Gene Bank accession No. BC032839 and type-15 collagen &alpha;-1 chain, and (c) a step of comparing the determined expression quantity of at least one gene product of the specimen originated from lesion tissue with the expression quantity in a specimen originated from normal tissue to judge whether the specimen is keloid positive or not.
