<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the state of ink liquid applied to a substrate constant without any change between a starting 1st sheet, and 2nd and succeeding sheets. <P>SOLUTION: A washing and drying device 7 is fitted nearby a plate 1 in parallel to an axis, and water (A) is jetted from an injection slit 8 formed at the center part of the washing and drying device 7 to wash the plate 1 in a rotating direction. At the same time, water in which dye is dissolved is sucked through suction slits 9 formed before and behind the injection slit 8 together with air (B) entered through the gap (b) between the plate 1 and washing and drying device 7 to remove moisture from the plate surfaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
