<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering tin from tin-containing materials, in which metallic tin is easily and efficiently recovered from solder consisting mainly of tin, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The tin is obtained by a first process of obtaining an acid solution 6 by adding an acid to the tin-containing materials 2, a second process of obtaining a solid matter 11 by adding a first alkali 5 to the acid solution 6 and adjusting its pH to 1 to 12 to produce the solid matter 11, a third process of obtaining the solution adjusted to the≥12 pH by adding a second alkali to the solid matter 11 and a fourth process of electrolyzing the solution of the third process. The metal tin of high purity can be easily and efficiently recovered from the tin-containing materials, such as tin-silver-based solder, tin-copper-based solder, tin-bismuth-based solder, tin-zinc-based solder and their compounds and alloys having their analogous compositions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
