PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital information management system for automatically recording and managing information concerning information generated by a user through the use of digital equipment or information brought into contact via a communication network through the use of the digital equipment, etc., and also to provide its transmission module, a digital information management method, its program, and an information storage medium.

SOLUTION: Information concerning digital information generated by the user through the use of the digital equipment 8 or digital information brought into contact via the communication network 3 are defined as recording object information. The recording object information is automatically transmitted to a base station 4 by the transmission module 7, and transmitted by the base station 4 to an information recording server 5 via the communication network 3. The information recording server 5 records and manages the received recording object information. Then the recording object information is browsed by an information browsing terminal apparatus 1 which is connected to the information recording server 5 via the communication network 3.
