<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection material for a wire harness and a protective structure of a wire harness having a protection function for a wire harness as well as equipments and components connected to it, which is significantly improved than the conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The protection material for a wire harness is composed of (A1) polyol whose average molecular weight is 500-5,000 and diol whose average molecular weight is less than 500, or (A2) a liquefied diene rubber whose average molecular weight is 4,000 or less, containing hydroxyl group at both ends of molecule chain, and (B) polyisocyanate, with loss factorηat frequency 10-500Hz being 0.05 or higher.
