SHIELD CONNECTION STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield connection structure capable of carrying out shield connection of a shielded connector to an external conductor shell without using staking or crimping.

SOLUTION: In shield connection between a terminal part of a shield tube Wa formed of braided wires overlaid on a signal cable W and the external conductor shell 13 of the shielded connector 10, a braided wire twisting part Wb is formed by twisting and bundling the braided wires in the terminal part of the shield tube Wa; quick-connection terminal parts 13b each provided with a press contact fitting 17 and each having a connection opening 18 formed by pressed elastic deformation of the fitting 17 are integrally formed on side walls of the shell 13 of the shielded connector 10; and the twisted and bundled parts Wb are inserted into the connection openings 18 formed in the terminal parts 13b to carry out the shield connection by press-contact connection by restorative deformation of the fittings 17.
