<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust bending of a new structure, wherein half-cut bodies are coupled together, in a free direction. <P>SOLUTION: A connector for a handrail rod is composed of a pair of left and right receiving members 1 and 1, and a two-continuous-spheres-shaped member 2 wherein left and right spherical parts 2b and 2b are integrally coupled to each other via a constricted part 2a. A spherical surface receiving part 1a, which covers at least half of a spherical surface of one spherical part 2a of the member 2, is formed at the leading end of each of the receiving members 1 and 1; a back end of the receiving member 1 is provided with a receiving hole 1b which receives an end of the handrail rod 3 so that the handrail rod 3 can be mounted thereto; and each of the receiving members 1 and 1 is formed by coupling synthetic resin half-cut bodies 11 and 11 which are cut in half along the axis of the receiving hole 1b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
