PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film transistor substrate that can improve an aperture ratio and has an auxiliary capacity structure which assures reliability of inspection. SOLUTION: The thin film transistor substrate has an insulating substrate, a thin film transistor provided in a portion of a pixel region on the insulating substrate, an auxiliary capacity electrode disposed in the pixel region, an intermediate electrode which faces the auxiliary capacity electrode across an insulating film and is positioned in the same layer with the source electrode and drain electrode of the thin film transistor, and a pixel electrode which covers the pixel region; and the intermediate electrode is divided into two or more parts, each of which is electrically connected to the pixel electrode through a contact hole.
