PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively monitor and control sewerage and its annex facilities from a remote site by utilizing a fixed-amount or normally-connected digital mobile communication network and a mobile terminal device for a monitoring/control unit for the sewerage and its annex facilities. SOLUTION: The system is composed of: a radio transmission means for transmitting monitoring data which are generated from the monitored/control unit by connecting to a meter-rate or fixed-amount charging mobile data communication network; a data management server connected to a server that a mobile data communication company has, to a server that an Internet connection company has or to both of them via a dedicated communication line or a normally-connected communication line; and a terminal device equipped with a means for connection to the Internet or the mobile data communication network. The data management server transmits a control instruction that is inputted from a terminal device that a sewerage manager uses or carries with him/her, to the monitoring/control unit.
