PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosure for electronic equipment which can easily be assembled by a simple work and hardly causes dispersion of assembly accuracy. SOLUTION: An enclosure for electronic equipment is provided with a chassis 20 having an upper surface opening for containing a printed circuit board 40 mounted with various mounting components 42 and a cover 30 having a closing part 31 to close the upper surface opening of the chassis 20. The chassis 20 has a receiving part 21 including an outer peripheral surface 21a inclined toward the inside as it goes upward on the periphery of the upper surface opening. The cover 30 has a locking part 33 extending downward from the peripheral of the closing part 31. The locking part 33 is connected to the outer peripheral surface 21a of the receiving part 21 and is elastically deformed toward the outside. Thus, the cover 30 is fitted to the chassis 20.
