PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display panel and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: After forming an ITO strip 512-A as a transparent electrode for impressing a positive electrode on a glass substrate 511, a sub electrode 513 smaller in width than the ITO strip in a grid form, an insulation film 516 as well as a partition wall 517, and forming an organic EL layer as well as a negative electrode strip, a sealing plate 519 and the glass substrate 511 are adhered by using a sealing material 518, so that adhesive force between the glass substrate 511 and the sealing plate 519 can be heightened through lowering of line resistance.
