SCROLL COMPRESSOR IN ASYMMETRY LAP SHAPE AND ITS PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize flatness obtained when finishing a mirror finished board face of a turning scroll of a scroll compressor in an asymmetry lap shape with a grind stone and to stabilize processing with the grind stone. SOLUTION: A bottom land extended part 7A formed by extending a step of a bottom land 7, requiring no finish processing with the grind stone is provided on the mirror finished board surface 8 of the turning scroll of the scroll compressor in an asymmetry structural lap shape. The mirror finished board surface 8 is processed with the grind stone 40 with an approximately fixed moving speed and pressing force while eliminating a moving path of the grind stone 40 involving rapid acceleration/deceleration and stoppage by using the bottom land extended part 7A. Thus the turning scroll of the scroll compressor in the asymmetry structural lap shape with the good flatness is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
