PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front part structure capable of absorbing energy, while suppressing retreating of a dash panel, when large load such as a front collision is applied to a front side member. SOLUTION: In this structure, a first joining part 41 to be joined to an upper surface of a horizontal part of the front side member 1 after covering an upper surface of a side end part of a dash cross member 2 and a second joining part 42 to be joined to a side surface part on a vehicle body side part side of the front side member 1 by extending from the height of a lower surface of the dash cross member 2 to a lower side are formed on a dash cross member side 4.
