CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF PRINTED WIRING BOARD

A connection structure of a printed wiring board being connected electrically with an FPC. The FPC comprises a basic material and a conductor part. The printed wiring board has an insertion port provided in one end face, and a line connection terminal formed on the inner wall face of the insertion port. A dual inline contactor having a first contact is fixed to the forward end of the FPC. The first contact comprises a body, and first and second arm parts extending therefrom substantially in parallel with each other, wherein the first and second arm parts are bent at bending parts to project oppositely from each other. When the FPC is inserted into the insertion port of the printed wiring board, at least one of the first and second arm parts presses the line connection terminal in the insertion port at the bending part. Since the FPC is connected to one end face of the printed wiring board, circuit elements can be mounted at a high density and the degree of freedom can be enhanced in the design of wiring pattern.
