<p>The facade or roof covering consists of tiles (1) which in each horizontal row are orientated to align by their lower longitudinal sides (2). The tiles on two diametrically opposite intersection points of the longitudinal sides (2,5) and transverse sides (3,4) have octagons (7), whereby the octagons of one horizontal row lie flush to the octagons of the tiles of the next higher horizontal row. The bevelled edges (8) of the octagons lying one against the other are overlapped by a pointed corner (6) of a tile in the higher horizontal row. An independent claim is included for a tile, and especially a slate tile, for a facade or roof covering.</p> |
