The disc brake is for two aligned axles or shaft (2,7) with intermediate differential. It has two parallel actuator plates (12,13) with actuator mechanism (23), and a brake lining pad (30) between the first plate and a first housing part (14). One or more additional lining pads (32) located on the differential side between the second plate and a second housing part (31) are pressed against that part by the plate. The second lining pad is connected to a differential cage (3), and to the second axle/shaft (7) via the differential. Due to this, both axles/shafts are braked using a single actuator mechanism and actuator plate pair.
