<p>A vibration damping device (1) consisting of upper and lower plates (2,3) which are force locked together via intermediate damping layer (4) in elastomer material, where layer (4) is divided into at least two segments (5) via recesses (7) where a recess (7) passes through core (6) to obtain complete separation of segments (5) where core (6) is devoid of elastomer material. An independent claim is included for production of the damping device by the steps:(a) introduction of lower plate (3) into a base mold, (b) insertion of an insert into the mold, (c) filling in of the damping material, (d) placing of upper plate (2) on the filled mold, (e) production of a bond between plate 2 and 3 and the damping layer, (f) hardening, (g) removal of the damping device and insert from the mold, (h) removal of the insert from the damping device.</p> |
