<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device of a battery pack for preventing infiltration of a gas etc. discharged from the battery pack while securing supporting rigidity of a driving motor of a fan and cooling the motor to prolong its service life. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling device of a battery pack 1 has a fan 11 for blowing cooling air into each cooling passage 3 of the battery pack 1 in which a plurality of secondary batteries 2 are disposed in parallel, respectively, with the passages 3 opened therebetween. A driving motor 18 of the fan 11 is disposed coaxially with an impeller 13 to be supported by a support stand 17 disposed in a fan casing 12, and a space in the support stand 17 between the space of the impeller arrangement of the casing 12 and the driving motor 18 is communicated with a suction side space of the casing 12 by a communication path 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
