METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ANSWER EXTRACTION USING CONCEPTUAL GRAPH MATCHING

A question and answer system processes a plurality of texts, received from the outside, by natural language to generate result data and discriminates whether the result data is a definition statement to extract definition statement data and non-definition statement data. The system generates an expansion graph by a first conceptual graph and a second conceptual graph which are generated by using the result data and data of either one of the definition statement data or the non-definition statement data, generates a question graph based on a question inputted from the outside, and finds a correct answer node based on the generated question graph and the generated expansion graph to draw a correct answer with respect to the question.
