METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CERAMIC ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a ceramic electronic component having excellent characteristics can be manufactured by highly accurately producing thinned internal electrodes. SOLUTION: In this method, a metallic film 12 is produced on a base film 10 having release layers 11 having the shapes of internal electrodes 14 by the thin film forming method. The metallic film 12 has cracks at the portions corresponding to the outer peripheral sections of the release layers 11. Then the internal electrodes 14 are formed by transferring the metallic film 12 formed on the release layers 11 onto a ceramic sheet. Thereafter, a laminate is produced by laminating ceramic sheets with internal electrodes 14 upon another. After forming the laminate, the laminate is baked and external electrodes are formed.
