PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth leakage breaker capable of cutting off an earth leakage detection circuit from a polyphase A.C. cable way in withstand voltage tests between respective phases. SOLUTION: This earth leakage breaker housing, in an insulation housing 1, a zero-phase current transformer 6 for detecting a leakage current of the polyphase A.C. cable way 4, the ground fault detection circuit 7 for outputting a cut-off signal when the secondary output of the current transformer 6 is above a predetermined level, tripping devices 8 and 9 for opening switching contacts 5 of the cable way 4 based on the cut-off signal, and a power circuit 10 connected to a plurality of phases of the cable way 4 for forming power sources for the detection circuit 7 and the tripping circuits 8 and 9, is structurally provided with a plurality of switch means 11 connected to the respective lines or the respective lines excluding one line of phase-related connection wires 12 for connecting the cable way 4 to the power circuit 10, and collectively turned on/off.
