PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and securely operate appliances such as radio, air conditioner, etc. without impairing operability of the operator when operating these appliances. SOLUTION: In the monitoring device for the construction machinery, appliances to be operated such as radio or air conditioner in an operator's cab are connected through a communication network to display the operation input and the operation condition of arbitrary appliances by the monitor 20. When the monitor device is switched over to an air conditioner mode by the operation of the A/C button 32a of an appliances switching part 32 for instance, the operation condition of the air conditioner is displayed on the display 30 with icons, or when any button of operation input part 31 is put in, air conditioner operation corresponding to that is operated, and at the same time, an icon on the display 30 varies, and the operation condition is displayed.
