PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for maintaining a jet pump riser tube lower part which is hard to access due to riser blades in a periodical checking of nuclear power plant. SOLUTION: A plate rotatable around the riser tube 12 comprises a first arm 50a opening outside from the plate and a second arm 50b closing inside from the tip end of the first arm 50a. By rotating it around the riser tube 12 in a state holding the riser tube 12, maintenance work is done from a maintenance work section of the maintenance device arranged at the tip end of the second arm 50b.
