PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus for a printing paste capable of improving the quality of printing while saving space saving and with a simple structure, and its method. SOLUTION: By providing mask supporting members 141 and 142 for supporting a mask 5 for a screen 2 on a screen supporting member 130, when a printing plate separation is operated, the mask can be prevented from being displaced in the thickness direction by the mask supporting member. In addition, it becomes unnecessary to provide the mask supporting member and an apparatus for moving the mask supporting member on an apparatus for supporting a circuit base.
