PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method having a fine washing effect free from resoiling even when a cleaning tool, particularly a cleaning tool containing oil, includes chemical fiber. SOLUTION: The washing method of a fiber product for cleaning comprising the first step to bring the fiber product for cleaning into contact with the first washing medium obtained by diluting a specific detergent composition with a diluting medium, wherein, the difference [(EC<SB>1</SB>)-(EC<SB>2</SB>)] of an electric conductivity (EC<SB>1</SB>) of the first washing medium at 20°C and an electric conductivity (EC<SB>2</SB>) of the diluting medium at 20°C is not more than 2,500μS/cm, is provided.
