<p>The headlamp pivoting device uses a control device (1) receiving signals (r,LRW,v,LW) representing the course deviation rate, the steering angle, the automobile velocity and the actual beam width, for supplying a signal (SW) representing the required pivot angle for the headlamp (3) to a pivot angle setting device (2). The required pivot angle is determined from the course deviation rate above a given velocity and from the steering angle below this velocity, with a dynamic offset upon rapid variation of the steering angle.</p> |
