<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always reflect a printer driver stored in a server device on the equipment information of a printer device. <P>SOLUTION: When a printer driver transfers a request command of the equipment information of a printer device to a bi-directional communication module, the bi-directional communication module makes the acquisition request of the equipment information of the printer device to a pseudo network communication module. The pseudo network communication module reads the equipment information of the printer device, and transfers it to the bi-directional communication module. The printer driver changes set contents based on the data. The bi-directional communication module acquires the actual equipment information from the printer device through the network communication module.
