A vascular embolization tool having a stretch-preventing wire inside a primary-shape coil. The vascular embolization tool is configured such that: the stretch-preventing wire is a multilayer wire having a core layer and at least one outer layer containing at least one type of resin composition and a biochemical active substance; and the core layer comprises a material having a higher breaking strength than the outer layer. The vascular embolization tool has a biochemical active substance administration function and excellent flexibility.
