<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cheap and small detection switch capable of accurate detection. <P>SOLUTION: The detection switch comprises a case 1 made of an insulating material and having housing parts 1c, 1d, and a magnetic transducer 3 connected to a conductive pattern 2. A conductive pattern 2 is formed of a metal buried in the case 1, and has a plurality of lands 2a which are exposed at the case 1 and connected to terminals 3b of the magnetic transducer 3. As a result, a conventional printed circuit board becomes unnecessary. Thus, the number of components can be reduced and the cost can be reduced.
