<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting sheet for deploying an airbag capable of preventing a projection on a metal bracket etc. of a ruptural surface formed by the rupturing of a part designed to make cleavage or the rear surface of the part designed to make cleavage from hitching on the airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The assisting sheet for deploying the air bag is structured so that an elongation part 8b to admit inflation of the airbag 7 until the airbag 7 is put in pressure contact with the rear surface of the part designed to make cleavage 2 formed in an instrument panel 1 and the second protection sheet part 8c to be drawn out to the outside along the ruptural surface of the cleavage part 2 when it 2 undergoes a rupture are formed between the part 2 and the airbag 7.
