PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a tire service life by suppressing cuts by stone biting at groove bottom parts of grooves formed on the surface of a tread. SOLUTION: In this tire, at least the groove bottom parts 4 on the surfaces of at least a part of the grooves are coated with a cut protective layer 5 made of a rubber material including short fibers of 10 to 80 pts. wt. in relation to rubber 100 pts. wt. on the surface 3 of the tread formed by a plurality of grooves.
