PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a crucible and scattering of a radioactive substance by improving supply efficiency, and eliminating impact force to the crucible and scattering of molten matter in the crucible. SOLUTION: An openable-closable discharge cover 2 is arranged on a supply device body 1. A discharge cover operating tapered part 4 is formed on an opening-closing arm 3 of this discharge cover 2. A discharge cover driving rod 6 having a tapered part 5 engaging with this discharge cover operating tapered part 4 is vertically movably arranged. The supply efficiency is improved by increasing the content unit volume of the supply device body 1, by reducing clearance between an inner peripheral surface of the crucible 17 and an outer peripheral surface of the supply device body 1, by opening-closing the discharge cover 2 via the discharge cover operating tapered part 4. Since the discharge cover 2 is opened and closed via the tapered part 5, opening-closing operation can be continuously performed. The impact force to the crucible and the scattering of the molten metal in the crucible are eliminated, by silently inputting a melt, to prevent the damage of the crucible and the scattering of the radioactive substance.
