LEATHERY SHEET HAVING NAP AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nubuck-like leathery sheet having excellent light and abrasion resistances and a soft surface touch and writing properties with a high-class feeling. SOLUTION: The leathery sheet comprises a substrate composed of an entangled nonwoven fabric of ultrafine fibers of≤0.5 dtex containing 0-8 mass% of carbon black and a polymer elastic body filling the interior thereof. The surface of the substrate comprises a napped part composed of the ultrafine fibers and a grain side part composed of a nonporous elastic polymer and existing therein. In the leathery sheet, the hue is mainly determined with a pigment contained in the nonporous elastic polymer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
