PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improved stabilizer composition for halogen-containing vinyl polymers, especially the stabilizer composition containing no cadmium, tin and/or lead and imparting improved resistance to discoloration during processing and/or when using the same. SOLUTION: This stabilizer composition effective for the halogen-containing vinyl polymers contains a specific dihydropyridine or a specific polydihydropyridine, or both of them, in combination with a specific amino alcohol and/or a perchlorate, i.e., at least one specific amino alcohol or at least one perchlorate or their combination.
