PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-crystal polyester solution composition which has little corrosiveness and is easy to handle, and which can produce a liquid-crystal polyester film having low anisotropy. SOLUTION: The liquid-crystal polyester solution composition contains: a liquid-crystal polyester containing at least one kind of structural units selected from the group consisting of structural units derived from an aromatic diamine, structural units derived from a hydroxylated aromatic amine, and structural units derived from an aromatic amino acid, in an amount of 10-50 mol% based on the whole structural units; and an aprotic solvent.
