PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which can prevent adhesion to fingers and an article on bundling, has high autohesion, cuttability by hand with good dimensional accuracy, and excels in heat resistance and weatherability. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a supporting base composed of a plastic film, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed on at least one side of the supporting base, and recesses of a shape extending perpendicularly to the lengthwise direction on one side of the above supporting base, and the above pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a polycarbonate structure section and is formed of a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprising a resin component of a polyester having a weight average molecular weight of≥30,000 as the main component, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has a maximum stress at≤50% elongation of greater than a stress at rapture and an elongation at rapture of 100-300%.
