PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method wherein a solid preparation (e.g., a general poisonous bait or feed) eatable by pests can be easily and quickly improved in an attractive effect and the amount of bait or feed eaten by pests, and the solid preparation can be stored for long term without mold formation. SOLUTION: The method for improving the attraction of pests and the eating by pests comprises feeding a specified amount of a liquid, desirably an acidic liquid, into the solid preparation when the preparation is used.
