PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for regulating the direction of each article designed to arrange the nearly truncated conical article having a large-diameter part and a small-diameter part in one row in the same direction. SOLUTION: There are provided an article feeding pipe 3 in which the article is held in one row in the vertical direction with the small-diameter part Ab in a random position and an article delivering means 5 for successively receiving the article in the lowermost stage one by one, changing the direction of the article A by 90°and delivering the article to the side of a separating means 4. When the small-diameter part Ab of the delivered article A is located at the front, the article passes between a separator 38 for the article diameter and a sliding plate 37. When the small-diameter part Ab of the article A is located at the rear, the article A is prevented from advancing with the separator 38 for the article diameter and then led to a dropping pipe 6.
