PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soldering head for an automatic machine capable of surely and stably performing both of point soldering and translocation continuous soldering. SOLUTION: The soldering head has a mounting block (9) for mounting on a working arm (1) of an automatic soldering machine, a supporting frame (7) freely vertically movably coupled by means of a floating unit (10) to the mounting block (9), an iron supporting plate (14) freely shiftably attached to the supporting frame (7) and subjected to operation control by an actuator (8), a soldering iron (4) and soldering nozzle (5) attached to the iron supporting plate (14), and a locking means (11) for locking the floating unit (10).
