PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposal apparatus having no danger of ignition due to the scorching of waste even when a humidity sensor does not normally operate because of the dew condensation thereon. SOLUTION: This garbage disposal apparatus has a function of detecting the dew condensation on the exhaust humidity sensor 28 based on the exhaust temperature detected by an exhaust temperature sensor 27 and the exhaust humidity detected by the exhaust humidity sensor 28 and a function of controlling a rotation vane 9 regardless of the exhaust humidity detected by the humidity sensor 28 when the dew condensation is formed on the exhaust humidity sensor 28.
