<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation panel device which improves the discernableness of keys while the operation sense of the keys is maintained, and which can surely prevent operation errors of the keys. <P>SOLUTION: In the operation panel device 6 with a plurality of the keys set at an upper face of an operation panel 60, the upper face of the operation panel surrounding an upper face of each key is raised by a predetermined amount with respect to the upper face of each of the keys 103a, 119a, 119b and 120-122 through the movement of slide levers 61 and 61.
