<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument through which arbitrary waveform data can easily be retrieved and the use state of the retrieved waveform data can be confirmed. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic percussion instrument previously selects an arbitrary waveform number with a wave select button and when the selected waveform number begins to be retrieved with an information indication button 28, a patch number and a pad number to which the waveform number is allocated can be displayed by an LCD 9 and a pad indicator equipped with LEDs corresponding to respective pads. Further, the display is carried out by switching pictures, patch by patch, with a page R button 27 and a page L button 26.
