PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which it is difficult to view text information and image information in a good display state on one display unit since a display unit with antiglare property is unable to faithfully display resolution and color information of image information and a display unit having no antiglare property greatly decreases visibility of text information owing to external light. SOLUTION: A light scattering layer capable of modulating a light scattering degree on a position selection basis is arranged on or nearby the display surface of the display unit; and the light scattering degree of the light scattering layer corresponding to a text information range of display information is increased and the light scattering degree of the light scattering layer corresponding to an image information range is decreased almost to a transparent state.
