PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepping motor which is small and high in energy efficiency, and can be manufactured at a low cost, an optical unit provided with the same, and an electronic camera. SOLUTION: The stepping motor 300 is provided with a rotor 300R comprising a permanent magnet provided on one side of a rotating shaft 301, and a stator 300S comprising a stator core and a coil for controlling magnetization adjacently arranged parallel to the axial center of the rotor 300R. The stator core comprises a main stator core 350 arranged inside the coil, and sub stator cores 310-340 that are magnetically coupled to the main stator core 350, with a pole teeth part that applies a rotational field to the rotor 300R provided around the rotor 300R. The stepping motor is mainly characterised in that the main stator core 350, of which both surfaces, front and rear, of a plurality of core plates 35T are press-fitted each other to be integrally laminated, is press-fitted and bonded to a yoke part of the sub stator cores 310-340.
