PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the inclusion of needle-like foreign matter contained in fluid between a valve element and a valve seat in a valve device in which a net-like filter is installed. SOLUTION: A net-like filter body 6 installed on the upstream side of the valve element 2 comprises a direction change member 10 which interrupts the flow of fluid flowing in the filter body 6 and changing the direction of the flow of the fluid. The needle-like foreign matter flowing in the filter body 6 with its tip facing a fluid flow direction X comes into contact with the direction change member 10 to flow in a side part 6c direction (direction Y) which is the changed flow direction of the fluid, and the foreign matter is caught and arrested by the side part 6c. Even if the needle-like foreign matter is passed through the meshes of a net at the bottom part 6c, it is allowed to remain at the direction change member 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
