PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unexpected cancellation of a self-locked state, achieve simple constitution and adjustment, and reduce cost. SOLUTION: In this retractor, a guide member 13 is provided with two guide grooves 13a and 13b disposed in parallel to be straight in a prescribed range in extension/retraction directions, and bent for prescribed quantity roughly vertically downward at an end part in the extension direction. An engagement member is provided with slide pins 12d and 12e to move in the extension direction to make the slide pins 12d and 12d slide along the guide grooves 13a and 13b to go downward for the prescribed quantity at the end part in the extension direction for canceling engagement between the engagement member 12 and a drive member 11. At the same time, the engagement member 12 is locked, and the drive member 11 is engaged with the engagement member 12 at an automatic retraction position by move of a movable rail in the retraction direction to cancel locking.
