PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure for installing an exhaust gas sensor onto a cylinder head in a protected state in an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: Intake and exhaust valves 56 and 57 are opened in V-form at a top part of the internal combustion engine 6, an exhaust port 55 from the exhaust valve 57 is formed to be bent in an opposite direction to the intake valve 56 in a crossing direction to a cylinder axial line from an exhaust valve axial line direction, and an installation flange surface of an exhaust system member is formed at a downstream end of the exhaust port 55 in the cylinder head 41 in the internal combustion engine 6. The exhaust gas sensor is positioned around the installation flange surface in the exhaust port 55, and outward of the exhaust port 55, as it is inclined to the cylinder axial line.
