PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method by which a satisfactory coating film can be formed on a surface of an object to be coated by evenly dispersing in water a coating agent which is insoluble or hardly soluble in water without adding a chemical substance such as an emulsifier. SOLUTION: The coating film is formed on the surface of the object to be coated by applying a solution obtained by dispersing the coating agent which is insoluble or hardly soluble in water, in water by using ultrasonic waves.
