<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device which prevents falling of a ceiling-mounted lamp. <P>SOLUTION: A locking device for vertically connecting an upper connecting element including an upper engaging part with a lower connecting element including a lower engaging part has at least two shell parts 1. These shell parts surround a connecting part from the outside in a horizontal direction and partially reach. The shell part 1 has an upper edge 5 and a lower edge 6. An upper engaging part 7 and a lower engaging part 8 which face the connecting part are provided close to each of these edges. When the connection of two connecting elements is ripped apart, the upper engaging part 7 of the shell part 1 is supported by the upper engaging part provided at the upper connecting element, and the lower engaging part 8 of the shell part 1 keeps lower engaging parts 13, 14 of the lower connecting element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
